Hi there! We are Suzie and Katey Nyquist, the mother-daughter duo from Parker, CO. We are passionate about figure skating, with over 60+ cumulative years of skating experience among the two of us! Suzie grew up skating in Colorado Springs, CO, where she skated at the old Broadmoor World Arena and Sertich Ice Arena. She still competes with Denver Synchronicity's Masters Team. When Katey was born, Suz quickly passed her passion down. Katey is a USFS Triple Gold Medalist, current member of Team USA's The Haydenettes, and an aspiring coach. We hope that Kate Skates can be a happy place to pass down all the tips and tricks we have learned in all of our years of skating.
